I am Ryan, a software engineer based in New York City. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2017, have lived in Northern Virginia and NYC since then, and have spent a lot of time traveling both in and out of the country. These days I share my home base with two cats, Chester and Pop, and a growing pile of half-finished ideas.

I am always working on self-improvement and love to try new hobbies. My latest is ceramics, and the rest of my active curiosities live in the Focus section.

My word of the year is focus. It is my quiet protest against a noisy world: stay with the task at hand, learn to love the minutiae, and take pride in a job well done.
